Our Story
It started with a ladder.
An inspection was being filled out - but not in the presence of the ladder.
That moment exposed a wider issue: equipment inspections done from memory or the office, tags faded or full, equipment logged under different names, and paperwork lost or delayed. The process had become passive - focused on forms, not safety.
So we asked.
What if inspections could actually work for us - not just sit on paper in a corner, but actively help reduce risk and give operatives confidence in their gear everyday?
That's why we built Smartheights.
Now, inspections are done in the presence of the equipment, using a consistent digital identity every time. Each inspection is logged, tracked in real time, and stored securely - cutting admin, improving accuracy, and turning reliable inspection data into real pro-active safety intelligence over time. Just as importantly, it provides crucial opportunities to pause - allowing operatives to stop, focus, and think clearly about the task ahead, reinforcing safer choices before work begins.
